We currently teach solo and group lessons in Singing, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano, Saxophone and Songwriting!
Absolutely not! We have students who are complete beginners, all the way to the most advanced of performers.
Our coaches will tailor lessons to perfectly suit your ability!
After your trial lesson, we’ll be in touch to see if you’d like to continue. By choosing to continue, you are committing to lessons for the term.
You will then keep a weekly day and time with your teacher for the rest of the term.
Your classes will be tailored to what you’d like to get out of lessons, and the goals you’d like to achieve!
We have 4 terms a year, which run in line with the Victorian Public Schools.
All solo & group classes will be held weekly in these terms. Solo lessons can also be booked in the school holidays for makeup lessons.
Every student has the opportunity to perform in a range of events throughout the year.
We have Open Mic Nights, Original Music Gigs, First Steps Shows for our beginner performers, and the End of Year Showcase.
Here at SoundCheck, we’ll encourage you to perform if it’s something you’d like to do, however there’s no pressure to get on stage if you’re not ready!
You are never too old to join lessons!
We accept children into solo lessons at any age, providing they are able to read.

You can try any of our group classes with a free trial lesson!
Some group classes you can jump in straight away, whereas others may require prior knowledge or experience.

We currently offer in-person classes in Ballarat, Ararat and within Primary Schools.
We also have an international student base that complete weekly classes with us online through Zoom! You can join us from anywhere in the world!
